Baltimore, MD – Rising cruiserweight prospect Tyler Langer is ready to make waves in the division this fall, as he looks to build momentum following his recent signing with Jeter Promotions.
At 29 years old, Langer boasts an undefeated record of 4-0 with three knockouts, and he already has four additional fights on the horizon as he continues his ascent. The Baltimore native showcased his power and skill earlier this month, stopping Sean Schultz in the fourth round on March 1st at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland.
Langer’s Journey to Boxing Success
Reflecting on his latest win, Langer emphasized the challenge Schultz presented: “He was tough and bigger, coming down in weight, while I’m a natural cruiserweight. He was the strongest opponent I’ve faced so far, but my experience and skill took over. It was the kind of fight I needed to measure where I stand.”
Langer entered the sport just nine years ago, after a friend of his mother encouraged him to visit the gym. His natural talent led to an amateur record of 40-10, though financial constraints prevented him from competing at a larger level.
