At 29 years old, Langer boasts an undefeated record of 4-0 with three knockouts, and he already has four additional fights on the horizon as he continues his ascent. The Baltimore native showcased his power and skill earlier this month, stopping Sean Schultz in the fourth round on March 1st at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland.

Langer’s Journey to Boxing Success

Reflecting on his latest win, Langer emphasized the challenge Schultz presented: “He was tough and bigger, coming down in weight, while I’m a natural cruiserweight. He was the strongest opponent I’ve faced so far, but my experience and skill took over. It was the kind of fight I needed to measure where I stand.”

Langer entered the sport just nine years ago, after a friend of his mother encouraged him to visit the gym. His natural talent led to an amateur record of 40-10, though financial constraints prevented him from competing at a larger level.

Now, with Jeter Promotions backing him, Langer sees a bright future ahead. “Tony Jeter is an incredible promoter. He knows how to move fighters the right way. I believe he can take me to regional, international, and eventually world titles. Unlike other promoters, he recognizes my value, and I trust him to get me the fights I need—including undefeated opponents—to position myself for championship opportunities.”

A Promising Future with Jeter Promotions

Jeter Promotions, which has built a reputation for hosting sold-out boxing events for over a decade, believes that Langer is a hidden gem in the cruiserweight ranks.

“Tyler has the ability to win championships,” said Tony Jeter, founder of Jeter Promotions. “We plan to bring him along at the right pace, and I see him becoming a legitimate contender in the future.”

Langer embraces an active fight schedule in 2025, eager to gain exposure and earn recognition among top cruiserweights.

“I love being active. Staying in the gym keeps me focused and driven. By the end of the year, I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m sitting at 8-0 or 9-0,” he remarked.

Putting Baltimore’s Mack Lewis Gym on the Map

Under the guidance of trainer Warren Boadley at the Mack Lewis Gym in Baltimore, Langer hopes to elevate his home gym’s legacy.

“I want people to believe in me, and I will put Mack Lewis Gym back on the map,” he said.

Jeter Promotions’ Deep Roster of Talent

Jeter Promotions continues to be a powerhouse in boxing, promoting top fighters such as Immanuwel Aleem, Mykal Fox, Joe Veazey, Ahmad Jones, Ezri Turner, Victor Williams, and Brandon Chambers. With 17 years of delivering high-quality events, the organization remains committed to developing elite fighters like Tyler Langer.

As Langer gears up for a busy year ahead, boxing fans should keep a close eye on this rising star—his journey toward championship contention is just beginning.
